Fresno State
Centennial Trilogy
It is with great pleasure that we present Centennial Trilogy, a collection of three songs that represent the musical heritage of Fresno State. This includes Centennial Tribute, written by alumnus composer John Bliss in 2010, especially for the Centennial; our Alma Mater; and Fight Varsity!-Fresno State Fight Song. The songs are introduced by Bliss, Emeritus Music Faculty member Ben Bakkegard (who turns 100 the same year as Fresno State) and President John D. Welty.
All three recordings are performed by our students, including the Fresno State Wind Orchestra (conducted by Gary P. Gilroy) and the Fresno State Marching Band (Directed by Timothy Todd Anderson). We believe these recordings will keep your Bulldog spirit alive and well for many years to come! GO DOGS!
